2 NZ teachers seeking work starting August

Printer-friendly version
We are two intelligent, caring and hardworking New Zealand teachers and we are seeking teaching jobs in Korea starting August 2017.

Angela King - aged 36 / Masters Degree in Creative Writing and Masters Degree in Library Studies

Nick Shand - aged 43 / Graduate Diploma in Teaching (Elementary level) and Bachelors Degree in Psychology and Media Studies

We both have experience teaching Korean students and wish to find suitable employment with a school or private academy with a reputation for excellence in ESL education.

We are passionate about the importance of learning for young people, and of being able to communicate clearly and meaningfully as a base for further education and achievements in work and society. We engage our students in English by connecting to their own need to communicate in their daily lives and their studies, drawing on their natural inclinations and approaches to communication. Language is a dynamic entity which we learn through experience, then by developing and adapting our use of language according to our need to communicate with each other. A good understanding of language underpins our ability to think clearly and critically, and analyse the subjects we study, research and work in.
