Cookin’ gives off Good Vibes! – The New York Times

Hello, travelers to South Korea! Greetings from a member of Trazy crew! :)

Eat, Play, Dance! The most delicious performance in Korea! ‘Bibap’

Bibap is a Korean nonverbal performance with the concept of Korean representative dish ‘Bibimbap.’ The show describes the cooking competition of chefs through the combination of music with b-boying, acrobatic, and martial arts. Started in 2008 as a 30 minute show, Bibap has actively participated in international and domestic food fairs, biennales, and even 2010 Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Our Trazy user, Jihyeon L, visited the Bibap show. She said it was great fun. Shall we listen to her story of how much she enjoyed it?

A must-do thing as a YG fan in Seoul!

If you’re a YG fan (or Bigbang, GD, 2NE1 or Psy’s), there is one thing that you should do when you visit Seoul.

Drum roll… Watch the Hologram Concert at Klive! :)

It’s actually even cooler than it sounds with fascinating visual effects and graphics. It felt like we were actually there at a real concert.

Saint Patrick’s Day in Seoul, 2014

When you live in Korea long enough expecting public holidays from home to fall on their usual day or date becomes a waste of time. Really. Anyone American will be familiar with Thanksgiving falling on a Saturday, and even the Superbowl the night after. Irish, like myself, are now most familiar with a Saturday Saint Patrick’s Day, and yesterday was no different from other years (except for last year and the year before when Paddy’s Day actually fell on the weekend…which kind of ruins my point), the day of Ireland and it’s ‘ness was transformed from its early weekday schedule to a much more alcoholic friendly Saturday.

If I Build It, Will They Come?

Hello, KoreaBridge!

I'm doing a bit of market research to see if there's enough interest to start a vitamins, minerals, supplements, herbs, sports nutrition, diet, energy, health, and beauty products business in Busan that could also ship to anywhere in South Korea.

I see lots of healthy, active people when I'm out and about.  If you're anything like me, you want to improve your daily nutrition, maximize your energy, and be reasonably healthy.  Perhaps you're also like me and you've had a really difficult time finding worthwhile products here in Korea.  It seems there are two options:

     1) you buy things from the U.S. or your respective country of choice and wait a long time and pay duty fees, or

     2) you ask a Korean friend to help you order products on webpages that are all in Korean.
