Twilight Saga New Moon Review

I finally saw New Moon. Let me just say that before I wrote this review I had to go home and exorcise the simpering teenage girl that possessed my body, took me to the theater, and refused to let me leave my seat even when Robert Pattinson's expression of love came across as if he was trying to move a really big one through his bowels. Maybe he was method acting. I don't know. But it was painful, especially for me, because I paid 10,000W to be there.

Beauties Chatterbox Controversy


Im late to this party, but I may as well join in anyway. So, in a recent episode of Chat with Beauties, one of the aforementioned beauties, a Korean college student, Yi Do-Kyung of Hongik University. appearing as a guest, said that "All men under 180cm (5'9") are losers." Her comment sparked a mini internet firestorm firing up the Korean netizens who, apparently because of their lack of stature, took offense.

Best New Fall TV Shows 2009

So, it's been a few weeks since the fall season started and the time has come to do a quick round up of what I've been watching. Really, the pickings were few since I'm not a big fan of serious looking crime scene investigators or shagging hospital staffers. Still, I managed to find a few shows to tune into and give a go. Here's the rundown!

Eastwick

Yeah, I know, but don’t roll your eyes at me like that. I’m being serious here. Eastwick percolates with whimsy, wit and woman power. The series, based on John Updike’s book The Witches of Eastwick, stars Jaime Ray Newman, Rebecca Romijn, Lindsay Price as three very different women who come together in a magical moment of happenstance when they each make a wish at the local fountain.

Next week the queen bee of pop flies back into the land of the morning calm with a deafening buzz that dwarfs her previous appearance. You see the newly Destiny Childless singer of two years ago, a dewy eyed songstress, has risen phoenix-like from the crucible of pop star fame shedding her pop princess persona and transforming into a fearsome new creature she calls Sasha Fierce.
