20 Positive Vibes

It’s not a time to be taking things for granted.

My youngest brother of four is in town for two weeks and antics are at large. Plenty of trips to traditional Korean spots such as E Mart and Starbucks have so far resulted.

+1 grows from strength to strength. She’s climbing, jumping, running, spinning, and aside from the constant exhaustion, she is nothing but a joy to watch and serioiusly addictive happy drug.

Somebody Like Me, Please!

I recently set up a page on Facebook for If I Had A Minute To Spare. If you’re inclined that way, why not follow this link right over to Facebook and click on the Like button (or you can just click ‘Like’ in the new fancy box in the sidebar). I suppose then you’ll be instantly connected to blog posts, some photographs, and perhaps a wee bit of link sharing and other bits and pieces.

Questions Worth Answering

These are questions I ask myself regularly:

An update on what I’ve been writing as of late.

I haven’t been as prolific here as of late. Had other stuff to write about. Not making excuses or apologising, I’m just saying, that’s all.

Anyway, there’s a course that I’m supposed to be doing. But, I seem to be not doing so much of it as I have been doing other stuff.

In January there will be an article from me in both Groove Magazine and 10 Magazine. There should also be two more articles again in both of these magazines for February.

For those who like to turn their nose up at the general quality of both of these (although Groove has been becoming a little more interesting lately) there could be something by me in The Three Wise Monkeys this Monday. I am expecting a mixed reaction from readers.

I was bored so I Googled myself…

zergs and protoss and terrans, oh my!

dear friends. there is something you may not know about korea, something you may find surprising. for some of you, this very thing may well make you (you know who you are) want to drop everything to move here in search of fame and fortune.

you see, in korea, you can get paid to play video games.

you can get paid lots of money.

you can become a nationally recognized celebrity worthy of photo spreads in Tiger Beat-esque publications for being a video game superstar, like the studly and possibly still pre-pubescent “bisu.”

all you have to do is be really, really exceptionally good at starcraft, a game everyone and their brother thought was awesome… in 1998.

pnu wanderings

today? today was the best day. why? because i found my favorite thing in the world, the thing i was worried i wouldn’t be able to live a year without. today i found… brunch.
