The Korean government wants Korean alcohol companies to tone down the use of young celebrities in ‘sexually suggestive’ ads reportedly aimed at young Koreans on the net.
SEOUL, South Korea – Banned by government regulators from advertising hard liquor on television, Korean alcohol companies turned to the Internet to push the hard stuff. With an awesome turnaround of just three days, we have returned to record this week’s actual episode. This one is focused on the big news of the week, G-Dragon, leader of Big Bang admitting to partaking of marijuana while partying in Japan, but before we get to that, there was somehow more news.
Episode 27 meets us on a high after finding ourselves linked to for a blog recommendation. YAY! We’re almost famous. Ahem, anyway, this week there was a lot of non-news released, but we power through it all anyway to get to our somewhat surprisingly in depth free talk, a bit more silly and fun than normal.
Due to Hurricane Irene affecting Puerto Rico, Turks & Caicos, The Bahamas and later the Northeastern United States, this episode was delayed considerably. Yes, I don’t live in all of those places, but my Internet was down for 3 days after power returned to my neighborhood. For episode 22 we’re recording a day late again, but luckily dissipated Tropical Storm Emily hovered over my island and kept late morning temperatures nice and cool which made recording during the day bearable.
