Convenience Store Raid Series: The Great Popsicle Taste Test

In our ongoing attempt to pretend that summer isn't over, Shane and I descended upon the freezer case of the Samsung Big Mart downstairs. We set out to taste our way through the popsicle freezer case. Yes, there is a freezer case devoted almost entirely to individually sold popsicles (and also a case for ice cream).

Fake egg in South Korea?? Personal experience

Hey guys. Last week i bought 10 eggs from 우리마트 at near kyungsung university. When i crack the egg, the yolk almost always broken and mixed with the white instantly. I thought that was very strange, I ate all the eggs in a week, and all of them were mixed with the white instantly.

Today i just googled about fake eggs, and found out that fake egg yolks will always mixed with the white because they are made from the same material.

Pho- Vietnamese Noodles

Hello All,

I sadly just ate at Pho Kim in Sfunz. I remember this place being pretty good when I lived in Korea 5 years ago, but sadly like many things it seems to have changed.

More expensive, smaller serving size and their spring rolls(half the size of before, and rice paper was very thick) they simply said they had changed.

So, I am on the hunt for a new Pho place. I have seen a few places listed here and their but would like opinions of your favorites. What makes them good, what you generally order, etc.

Thanks in advance,

RCMP Criminal Background Check for Canadians already in Korea

Hello!!

I am looking to extend my contract with my current employer since my contract will expire in November. I called Busan Immigration today and they said that even though I will be with the same school, I still need a criminal background check!! My heart sank to the floor. I've heard that it takes at least 3 months.

Can anyone clarify how I can get my RCMP check done in Busan? And if anyone has extended their visas within the last few months, (as a Candian citizen) what did you have to do?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Tourist Visa Run, does anyone have familiarity with this?

I am here in S. Korea to be with my girlfriend who is teaching english, so I am here on a tourist visa. I would like to stay longer than the three months, and I am willing to do visa runs. Does anyone know if immigration here is open to this action, and what process would be best for my situation?

Thanks...
