Even the word of love is enough to make us happy or to bring sometings to mind. The memories that we had when we fall in love, are some of the bests within our memories. But, is the love totally clear or always happy? Love is blur. 

In this picture I tried to show the cloudiness of love with the lovely color between the flowers in 경주.  I wish this couple to have a beautiful memories untill the end.

Temple Stay in Gyeongju City

As part of the summer programme (SPIKE) at UNIST, we went for a 2 day 1 night temple stay in Gyeongju City. Temple stays are getting more and more popular as a tourist activity in South Korea. We did not get to sleep in a real temple but we had to eat vegetarian food for the two meals there and we had to attend the evening and morning prayer sessions.

All the happy faces.. not knowing what they will be facing the next morning...

Nahbi Guesthouse has been alive and well for almost 4 years now, I am selling my hostel because I want to travel the world. This business has served me extremely well. The hostel business in Gyeongju is BOOMING! I was fortunate enough to open Nahbi at just the right time. I am one of the veterans here, and thus, have been entered into the Lonely Planet. 10 Day Vipassana Meditation Retreat in Gyeognju Starting December 20th

Those interested in meditation might want to know that there is a new Vipassana Meditation Center opening just outside of the historic city of Gyeongju.   The center will begin running 10 day silent meditation courses on a monthly basis, starting this coming December.

You asked for it, so you got it. Our friends in Daejeon couldn’t find a venue to play at this year, so Gyeongju will be hosting the annual Halloween Hat Tournament on our luxurious grassy riverside this year.  Did I mention we’ve got grass fields?
