Biking trip around Korea

Hi everyone,

I'm a french student travelling in south korea with 2 friends. We spent some time in Seoul and went to Busan for the sea. We still have 20 days to go before ending our trip and we were thinking about buying some bikes to come back to Seoul in a more 'adventurous' way.

50CC scooter and car driving licence procedure

Dear Friends,

I am interested in 50cc scooter licence and car driving licence.

I am new in Changwon korea and I dont have my own country's driving licence so far.

1) Please give your opinion on 50cc scooter driving licence process + scooter registration process + insurance company and process + name plate process + driving licence office in Changwon or nearby changwon address.

Streetcar museum

Well I went there this past Friday afternoon so thought that perhaps someone else might be interested in knowing more about it.  That is especially since I had read about it on here somewhere.  It is located at the end of the Blue Line, #4.  This would be Anpyeong Station.  I would suggest getting there no later than 1600, since it closes at 1700 and it is not actually at the station; after asking to tour it (Which I did by pointing to the picture and caption of it on the city map.) after which they will put you on a train going towards their yard, and get off about two minutes later where

First visit to South Korea - advice / info needed

Hi All,

If anyone has the patience to answer any of my questions below, I would appreciate it sooo greatly... I will be visiting South Korea for the first time, having lived in Japan for 1.5 years, and all the stuff I will carry with me has been acquired in Japan. My brain now only knows what it's like to live in Japan and needs to prepare for a visit elsewhere.

So here I go:

T cards for bus and subway travel

I would like to buy 2 adult and 2 under 11 cards for use on the subway and buses in Busan.

I hear there are different types and I can just get it at any familymart? I also read online that i need some kind of foreigner id to sign up the kids to get the discounted cards? We are here for 2 weeks and want to make it easy and as cheap as possible to get around. I use google maps directions a lot to check what buses go where and it has been great.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Bike License

Good day.

Not too sure if this is the correct place to post a question.....but here goes.

Has anyone done the big bike license?

If so, what does it entail?

Do you have to do some kind of pre-ride check?

I will be doing the test next month and wasn't told anything about.

I have already completed the written test.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Marc

Cheap accommodation near Incheon Airport?

Anyone know of a cheap hostel/hotel/jimjibang to stay at near Incheon airport for one night?

I don't know the area at all so any info would be greatfully received! I must be at the airport for 6am so if I can get the subway there easily I wouldn't mind staying a bit further away from it.

Many thanks!
