Has anyone wired money to a TCF Bank in the US? They do not have an international swift number so I am concerned on how it would work.

Currency Exchange Question (urgent)

I've mentioned it a few times already...we're leaving! This Thursday, to be more precise.

We're cleaning out our accounts, and obviously we need to do an exchange for two different currencies, Canadian Dollars and New Taiwan Dollars.

In the past I've gone to Kookmin or Busan Bank for smaller exchanges for things like vacations (so, exchanging a couple million won at a time)...but sometimes they don't even have enough of the specific type of currency that we need. This time we're exchanging a lot more.

Where to exchange money in Busan other than banks?

Hey Koreabridge community out there, I would like to know where can we exchnage money in Busan other than banks.??

It doesn't matter whether its black, grey, legal, illegal as I am a student and I need to exchange a certain small amount of money every month for my survival which my family sends me.

I have heard that there are some AJUMMAS in Nampodong area, if anyone knows about that kindly tell me the exact location or any such other place in Busan from where I can get the rates which I can see on internet or atleast close to it.

Buying Euros in Korea or Canada

I am finishing my contract in March and I want to go traveling in Europe after. I happen to be going back to Toronto, Canada for my brothers wedding at the end of this month . I will come back to Korea in March and finish my contract. Which country is better to exchange money and in Korea where is the best place to buy Euros? Thank you

Hiring a Debt Collector

Hi there, I'm not living in Korea, but am posting here because I desperately need some help!

I'm a freelance photojournalist who did work for a firm in Seoul to the tune of 18,000 USD, but the firm has yet to pay my team.

To no avail, I tried calling, emailing, etc.

Now, I'm at the point of trying to find a debt collection agency that I can hire to recover our money.

Does anyone know a debt collection agency that I can hire? If you can pass a name and contact email? Or website. I'd be really grateful!

Frustrated and broke

I also will be needing to withdraw money...

I have tried to withdraw money using my Canadian bank card (that has Cirrus and Maestro) on the back, but I have had no luck at the BS Bank, KB, or KEB bank machines.

Does anyone know of a bank machine that accepts foreign bank cards? Would it work to see a teller during bank hours?

Nonghyup (농협) Network Offline?

What the hell is going on with Nonghyup bank? Suddenly all financial services have stopped. There's some strange pop up on their website that says all services have come to a hault and there is no known date or time when service will resume.

My Korean isn't good enough to understand all. Anyone know more details?
