Busan Bowling League

Hello Bowlers!

Currently, the first season of the Busan Bowling League is coming to an end. Over the course of about 3 months, 24 bowlers, divided into 6 teams, participated in our weekly bowling league. As the championship will be determined in the coming week,s it has come time to plan for Season 2!

So, if you are interested, please continue reading.

Season 2 will take place  in March, April and May. We will bowl every Thursday night at 1030pm to about 1230. Currently, we use a bowling alley near Centum City (Jaesong Bowling Centre).The most important thing is that you commit to this schedule. Quitting, not showing up, being unreliable, etc etc will create a big burden for you team members, organizers and the league in general (in season 1, we had exceptional attendence. maybe only 3 absences over the course of a few months).

So, if you would like to join, please email me at busanbowling [at] gmail [dot] com. Please send your name, phone number and average bowling score. Your average score is really important. Please be honest!

To make the teams, we will divide people according to their average scores to ensure that all teams, when total team score is added up, are somewhat equal. This will allow for a competitive and exciting league. Therefore, you will sign up for this league as an individual and then be placed on a team. However, we will take friendships, relationships, grudges, etc into account when making teams and accomodate people wherever possible.

Also, a league fee of about 10,000 to 20,000 will be required. We will use this money to buy trophies, prizes, etc.

Season 2 will start on March 4th.
